the Archives &#8211; Mardi Gras"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Mardi Gras!!\u00a0 I had the pleasure of photographing the first Mardi Gras after Katrina.\u00a0 It was my first and only Mardi Gras so I have nothing to compare it to but, WOW, the people of New Orleans know how to throw a party.\u00a0 It was so fantastic to see people out celebrating in the wake of such a devastating storm.\u00a0 I followed the parade from Uptown into the French Quarter&#8230;focusing mostly on characters.\u00a0 Here are a few of my favorite shots.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\"
