It was quite an experience. Very difficult to explain in words but if you are familiar with <a title=\"Burning Man's Official Site\" href=\"http:\/\/www.burningman.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Burning Man<\/a> at all, it was basically a smaller, regional version. I met some great people and learned a bit about myself. I didn&#8217;t take as many photos as I would have liked but these are a few from the Effigy Burn on Saturday night. It was a giant wooden squid which housed a cool kaleidoscope, set ablaze to chants such as &#8220;burn the squid&#8221; and &#8220;I&#8217;m ready for some calamari.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Went to Apogaea a couple weeks ago with Ryan.
